Finding work for idle hands: making, baking and more.

Today we happened upon a visiting collection of prints from the Into the Pixel exhibition which was held in Los Angeles earlier this year. It’s a show of some of the best art from videogames, and was interesting. Some of my favourite pictures were from games that I’ll likely never play though (Godfather). A lot of the prints can be seen on the official website, and if you’re in Nottingham, you can see them on the 4th floor of Waterstones.

While there we picked up a flyer for the Science Museum’s Game On exhibition, where you can – subject to having to queue up – have a go on video games dating back through the ages. There’s more info on the Science Museum’s website, and you can play an online game of Car Park Pong.
